Well, it's the new year and I'm making my first post on Jan 17th.. Ughs! I brought the new year in with a bang, and a cough.. seems the Ice Queen hit me hard, and surrounded me with her frozen wings making me sick sick sick and sick! 

On top of that, we had a death in the family so I had no time really to rest and get better. Finally, I'm feeling more like myself, ready to jump into the world again and get back to doing what I love, blogging! Thank you to my sponsors who didn't give up on me.



Today's post features a few different things. The Pose is by Image Issential called Ice Queen which totally inspired this post. It always amazes me that when I get stumped, I just start pulling out poses and then get inspired and motivated. Thank you Kay Weston of Image Esseitnals Poses and Props for the Ice Queen pose/prop. Of course the wooden dummy comes with the pose (not the handsome fella on the left.) We had fun taking pictures before I got sick so it's really nice to be able to finally post this.

Feeling Purple for POE7

I know I know, it should be feeling blue because POE7 is ending but my favorite color IS purple, and I'm wearing PURPLE in my post so I'm feeling Purple today. :) Bad humor, I'm sorry but thank you for reading and humoring me anyways.

Today I'm bringing you an adorable adorable adorable dress from !Black Swan called Elena. I'm not normally a fan of gold accents, but because I'm such a fan of purple I just couldn't resist. So I paired the dress with jewelry from **Dellybeams fine prim Jewelry which is called Celtic black pearl, but it's black and gold. Very elegant and beautiful and fit very well with the dress.

The Holiday season is over, and we're packing up our trees and decorations. It's always a melancholy time of year for me even though this year I struggled with wanting to decorate, now that the holidays are over I'm like "but but but.." I guess I shouldn't procrastinate. So if you're liking the blog posts of POE7, hurry because it ends on January 6th 2015!

Oooh! I cannot forget a few other items!!! My skin is the December group gift from Deluxe Body Factory called "Tilda" one of the great things about DBF skins and shapes is that when you buy the appliers, you just buy them once. There are a few applier packs I believe, but they go with ALL her skins which is AWESOME!!!!!! I am not wearing the Tilda shape in these pictures only the skin. Also shows the necklace from the POE7 hunt really well too! Loving the cold accents.

My nail polish is by La Boheme you have only ONE day left to get these beautiful nail polishes. Sadly, my pictures do not do these polishes justice! These are FREE until December 31st 2014 at La Boheme called Swirling Vines Gold/Silver. We also know that I love shoes! Yes yes I do, and I love shoes that come with a hud so I can have different colors (of course purple! because it's feeling purple day!) These beauties come from 2Chez by Gisele Grizot and are called CGG SO Easy Heels. These shoes come with a hud so you can get 8 different color choices! 8!!! yes you heard me 8!!!!

There's something about the holidays that makes me excited but sad at the same time. I am more of a pagan spirit then a Christian spirit. I love all the beautiful lights, the snow, and the feelings of good nature that come along with the holidays. The feeling of home, and family coming together. The things I don't like about the holidays is all the commercial hub bub and the pressure to outdo the rest of the family. Well, I simply don't, I can't afford to. I do my best. I don't like the pressure or the stress and most of all this year for some reason more then seasons past I am missing my father more and more. This will be our 6th Christmas without him and while wandering CALAS GALADHON'S 'NOEL' I was reminded even more about the loss of him.

The skin that I am wearing is Tilda by Deluxe Body Factory, I am totally in love with this skin because it's just very natural looking. It has a cute mole and has freckles. I paired it up with my chocolate eyes by IKON and hair by Truth to finish off the look. These are NOT purchased at any events. There is a 249L join fee, but you get amazing skins, shapes and you can pick up male and female shapes/skins from previous group gifts

Today I am wearing a combined outfit from OMG round 10 which is our Christmas Round. I'm continually surprised by the designers and what they come up with. I love this jacket by Stellaone  the Zagobia vest. It's snug fitting, high collar, I feel classy yet casual. And it was super warm while walking through the snow. 

 The pants and boots I am wearing are from Outfit Collection Winter V2#I_RD Style by RD Style, there is actually a really adorable wintery sweater that goes with these pants but I was mixing and matching this morning and liked the feel of these two pieces together. I hope you don't mind.

While walking through the NOEL sim, I was touched by all the details. I stopped at this fence line to pose with these cardinals. The red cardinal was one of my dads favorite birds. We have them all over our house. It's funny, we never collected them before but he'd spend hours watching them from the back window of our old home as they would land our deck. Chasing each other, chasing the squirrels, and dive bombing the horses next door. They were always fun to watch. My father passed away in September and it seemed the week of his passing the Cardinals came out in force to dance about our back deck especially at sunset which is my moms favorite time of day. We see Cardinals and we think that Daddy is checking on us. :) It's also funny, I was trying to think of songs for the holidays and my favorite one is "Do you hear what I hear" Amusing for a non christian, but there ya go.. I'm very weird. I'm eclectic that's what I like to tell people. Plus the song was fitting I think for how I was feeling today taking a walk down memory lane.

Of course NO outfit is complete with out the perfect nail polish. I've chosen La Boheme XMas Lights, now I'll be honest, I don't know where I bought these at. I know it was at a recent event but I sure can't figure out where. I've emailed the very wonderful creator and I'm sure she'll get back to me super soon so when she does I'll tell you where you can get them, BUT in the meantime I KNOW they're for sale on marketplace because I ran there to look because I was almost at my wits end going from event to event searching.. I'm focused sometimes. lol.

Ever just have one of those days that no matter what you do, everything you do just happens to be wrong? It's kind of been one of those weeks for me, BUT I at least did it in style!!!! This outfit is by 2 Chez FunStyle Hoodie, and jeans. They come with these killer thigh shoes/sock combo. AND you don't have to wear your slink feet with them. It was very odd for me to take mine off but this outfit just was to cute!!!  (And yes! I know the picture, the words are hard to read.. lol I was playing around in photo shop as I'm learning it and loved the filters but didn't want to take the words away.. hehe)

My Master actually helped me take pictures for this blog posting. We bought a 10L car off of marketplace and went to the racetrack because I had the song "life is a highway" playing through my head which is very fitting for our week. So because I was going for FUN, I pulled out my hair by .ploom called Lollipop Girl this was available recently at The Candy Fair but it's probably available in her store by now.
