Cedric and I were lucky enough to get off of work a little bit earlier today so we dressed and settled down to take some pictures to wish our friends and family a VERY Blessed Easter.
At the beginning ... it all starts with a hello, and a friendship. I've been so lax on my blogging lately. Seems the last year has really thrown my family some curve balls. From having surgery, going back to work. My son finally got the dog he's wanted for years to only have it get spooked and take off. After hours of seraching, strangers searching via social media he was brought home the following morning with a very sad ending. My son was devestated. Two weeks later my daughter was in a car accident, thankfully she's okay.. the car.. sadly not so much. And now we wait as my childrens dad makes the hard decision to put to rest their dog they've had since my oldest was 7. What a few months. Phew. But blogging is what I love and I'm passionate about it, so sometimes I don't blog because I don't want to throw together a half assed post or half assed pictures.
Lets talk about what I'm bringing to you today. In the top picture I want to show off the stunning new makeup by La Boheme. Santana is going to be bringing us mesh appliers soon for lips and eyes, but I've still not convinced myself I love my mesh head, maybe I'll patiently wait for her updates. My hair is Opal by Doe, new at C88, isn't it adorable? I love the updo, it's elegant yet playful, the long length's at the front curling up in the back. Just love it.
I can't get away from Dark Passions Nails sometimes, I'm an addict to nail polishes but find I only wear La Boheme or Dark Passions and not because they're my sponsors but because I LOVE THEM. :) Right now BCreative is participating in 20Twenty where you can get discounted items around the grid which I think is awesome, I love some of the other events, but I love being able to go to a creators store and shop around. I wish more events would start doing this. This set is called Musette's Manus II, I'm only showing you SOME of the colors that are offered, but really these are awesome, I love the flipped colors, soft and edgy at the same time. So GO GO GO before the event ends today.

Glitzz put out this special gift called Sugarlicious. Feathers, breast covers, panties, and a head piece very lovely pastel colors to brighten your day. I combined my look with hair from Ayashi, then had Cedric put out a rock for me to sit on. I wanted to be lost at sea with my contemplation of seduction.
My poses are by !bang called Ledge Sits, which you can find at Shiny Shabby.They're very charming which draw you in and want to sit and have a chat, or in my case seduce. I've been toying with poses where I'm sitting instead of standing so these were fun to work with.
I finished my look with lipstick by la Boheme that you can find at this round of We <3 Roleplay and nail polish by Dark Passions called Bed of Roses. All my details of where and when you can get are below.
I LOVE the sound of a good motorcycle. I have to admit that I'm a Harley girl. I don't like to get on them though, but I admire them and the power behind them. When I was 15 I lost a very good friend to a horrible accident. It made me respect and fear motorcycles. I was probably in my late 20's when someone finally talk me on to riding on the back of his bike. I pouted, I stomped my feet, I cried but finally I knew that my friend would want me over my fear so I bravely put my helmet on, swung my leg over, and settled in. I clung. Thankfully, the friend took it slow, he drove me around the parking lot first let me get the feel of the bike, when I got a little more comfortable he hit the road. Oh lord it was free'ing. Was so much fun. Then later on I dated someone who had a bike who made me fear them again.. Meh. :) I still respect them though, and still admire them, I just don't want to be on one.
But on Second Life?! I can ride them without fear or inhibitions. This pose was a new release for Jan Pose Lover event, but I've been abit lax in my blogging and getting things done. Trying to adjust to a new job as well as other things. This pose is devine, makes me feel like I could conquer the world and be sexy while doing it. I knew when I got this pose then saw the Lapointe jacket at Project limited that I wanted to blog this. I love these types of jackets and can't get away with wearing stuff like this in real life so here we are! Second Life finds. :) The jacket has a texture changing tshirt under it so you can change the tshirt, you can also make the jacket just straight black too if you want.
And of course, I had to head over to Genre and get this new polish by Dark Passions called "The Prowl." It's jungle and my pictures do not do these pretties justice. I love the bright colorful colors. Makes me feel wild and free.

Something I struggle with in real life is my self esteem. I think that's one thing that I've enjoyed about second life is it's helped me become more positive about myself. I know that my body will never look like my SL avatar, and I'll never have beauitful blonde locks but what is important to me is that people get to know ME, the person inside that I am. That's how I met and fell in love with Cedric, we feel in love with each other, we had to work at our relationship because we didn't always have that daily touch physically in real life. We just had our words and our emotes in SL. We're together now and it's amazing. His touch still sets me on fire. I decided to slip into Alva which is the VIP gropu gift at Glitzz. I love how well her appliers fit, they match up so perfectly and the texturing is amazing. It helped me set up a sexy look for Cedric when I wanted to get his attention.

Of course no outfit can be complete without the perfect polish and shoe. I decided to wander over to Oh My gacha and hit the Essenz shoe gacha. 75L per play which I think is pretty awesome for shoes. :) Especially when you're a greedy shoe whore like me. So many beautiful colors. Then I stopped in awe at Dark Passions gacha. SO many glorious new nails.. Squee! The set I'm wearing is the rare pastel pretties. Each common comes with three choices tartan and to spring colors. There are 2 rares. Each 50L per play and there's a total of 10 to collect. Just make sure you pick the right machine one is for slink and one is for Maitreya which I think is awesome you can buy what you need and not get a bunch of what you don't need. The dress I am wearing is called Wendy, it's at Enchantment for just a few more days. Glitzz is a new sponsor of mine. ~squees!~ This dress comes in several colors (Black, blue, pink, and white) Each are very sexy and pretty. I just HAD to blog it. The pose that I am using, actually COMES with the dress. Bonus for pose whores like myself. :)

I've always loved the story of Peter Pan but I often wonder what would have happened if Wendy had grown up in Neverland would she have fallen in love with Captain Hook? Sometimes the bad guy needs to be loved too. :) \

Something about updo's that I felt really top'd off this outfit (no pun intended), it almost gave me a tinkerbell look but that isn't really what I was going for, I just loved what Helyanwe Vindaloo did with this updo and had to share it. I love that I could tint my hair lightly pink on the ends to go with the dress. I also glossed my lips with a heart shape kiss by La Boheme. MWAH... I wonder if I kiss your cheek if I leave my heart imprinted on you? Maybe?

Even though I'm a girl, not really a "lost boy" the song "Lost Boy" just sinks into my heart and my soul.. I love the lyrics, I love the meaning.. It's as if I was lost.. but with my favorite stories I'm right where I belong.

I actually put mine into a pose stand then raised it so it looked like I was flying. Last but surely not least I painted my nails with Whispers of Winter by Dark Passions. For me no outfit is complete without my nail polishes. Sadly the Cosmetic Fair ends today but don't despair, Miss B will have it in store soon so you should RUSH there and buy. And shop and snag up some of her gift cards that she has available for your friends or just be greedy and buy for yourself. *NODS convinsingly* Shop her sales and just SHOP. :) So there are several colors to this polish but here are four of my favorites.

I met a girl about a year or so ago. She was a fellow blogger and often helped me via Blogger Support. I knew her, but I wouldn't say we were friends. We were on friendly terms. I can't say I knew very much about her other then I admired her, I liked reading her blog entries. I knew I wanted to know her more. Over the last few months I kept telling my Daddy, Cedric "I think you should get to know her better." We've always had kind of an open type of relationship online. I've never minded much when He had other girls on second life. Honestly! I had been watching this girl post on facebook about Guild Wars and roleplaying on Second Life two things that Cedric really enjoys but things I don't really "get". I thought this girl would be a good fit to His GEEK side. So they began talking.. and from that a relationship developed, not only between them but between her and I. I just want her to know that we do see her as someone beautiful, that through her darkest nights and her darkest moments we'll be there to catch her when she falls. We'll fail sometimes, but we'll do our best. I just hope she lets us see beneath her beautiful, through her demons so we can help turn her nightmares into day dreams and more.

So when she put on the red dress from the October round of Kinky Monthly, I asked her if we could pose together. I was thrilled when she of course said "YES!" so I rushed over and I bought the black Lolita - Mandarin Dress. Though today is the last day for the Vintage and Cool Fair, I wanted to share with you these perfectly delicious nails from Dark Passions called Bold & Bishy . I love how this theme is inspired by the 80's. I loved the 80's, so much great music, weird hairstyles and the joy of the valley girl! Yes, I was a valley girl like totally true!
Something neat I figured out this week with Dark Passions hud IF you're wearing Slink (I haven't tried it with my Maitreya yet) is that if you apply to the hands, it applies to the feet! So totally awesome. Like.. you know.. totally! These colors are bold and scream awesomeness. I just love them. These are probably one of my most favorite sets but then I love ALL BCreatives designs.. these just are bold and flashy which I'm not really.
It's funny that usually I dress then try to match my polish, today I put my polish on then tried to match my clothes to the polish. I think I did that with No Name Buffy Outfit, and of course I had to match the [nn] Dusty heels with it because well they're just freaking smexy shoes!
The Buffy Outfit does come with a hud so you can change the top, the bra, as well as the skirt! Super cool right? So many looks with just the click of a button. I wish real life clothes were so simple!

It's been a bittersweet few weeks. I had surgery on July 8th and my mom stepped up and helped when her health isn't the best. The song I chose for inspiration is called "I'll Be" By Reba McEntire, something that I hope to be for my own daughter. I want to be their shoulder and be there for them, and well I really haven't been. I'm reminded of a ship in a storm, riding the waves and what guides them home? The lighthouse, the love of family and friends. So when BAMSE sent me this light house necklace for the upcoming Le Petite Faire coming to Honey Briar from July 17th until August 7th , I knew I had to blog it and show off the beauty and be reminded how lighthouses weather all storms that beat against their shores.
Here's the closeup of the :BAMSE: Lighthouse Necklace - I'm wearing it in Silver but it also comes in Black Gold, Copper, Gold and of course Silver. It's also resizeable I made mine a little bit smaller but it is amazing just out of the box too. The creator liamzander has really done a marvelous job of making this charming necklace. In this picture you can actually see the "glow" of the lighthouse but it's not overwhelming if you zoom out meaning it doesn't SHINE out in your face, it's just a neat little secret feature if someone zooms in on you.Will be sold individually or as a fatpack. He does specify that this necklace is Unisex and fits baby/kid/adult and teens but looks better on the adult/teen. It will take some adjusting if you decided to buy it for a baby. It's easily sizable and I'm not very good at this kind of thing so IF I can resize it and make it look good anyone can. lol
Skipping off to the Wayward Carnival that opens July 15th -July 30th - not a very long time at all so hurry hurry hurry and snag all the fantastic goodies that you can find at this wonderful Carnival. I shopped myself broke. (Used all my hair fair money!!!) But I decided there were just things that I had to have. The first thing I snagged was poses.. yeah duh poses because I LOVE POSES! And an lar has done it again and brought me a pose set that I just HAD to own called The Wonderall Series. There are six poses with mirrors to this set. I'm only showcasing a few of these. (All poses in this blog post are by an lar from this pack). The creator of an lar is Katya Valeska, she's one of those pose makers that I usually wind up buying when I see her poses at events just because I admire her work.
I don't usually do "decoration" and home decor blog posts but since I loved this house, and the other items,I thought I would try my hand at adding a little extra touch here and there. Throughout the pictures you'll see a couple of things. [Moani] Jar Candles by Sway as well as the ring toss by [atooly.home]. I don't think the Moani candles are an exclusive to the event, but they were very pretty and I love candles and things that glow. I thought these were just charming and will fit in many different spots in my home. Today they happened to look good on Trompe Loeil - The Dreaming House that I had picked up at a previous event, but is available in their main store and on markeptlace. I just thought the jars and the ring toss were adorable and I was feeling nostalgic for my childhood. And just remembering what a strength my mom always was and has been for me.

It's really a terrifying fairy tale but just the thought of a young girl dreaming such extraordinary dreams. I related to Alice when I was a child growing up on a farm without any friends because we lived so far out. Often times my only companions were the bunnies in the fields, mice I could find as well as the many cats that happened upon our house and my loyal dog. So Alice was never a tale very far from my heart.

BCreative Wilde of Dark Passions/Koffin Nails always makes me think outside of the box. ALWAYS. She's created a new jacket called Feliciaa that has been released at Black Fashion Fair with this delightful Dark Unicorn polish. The jacket, stream line and elegant in a rocker punk fashion.
I paired the jacket with a dress that I bought at Duck Nipple. The jacket comes in two versions, leather studded and leather/metal plated jacket. I'm wearing the studded because well it just look bad ass. :)
