~Gimme Something Good~

We only have 5 days left until OMG Round 9 ends, and there's lots of wonderful things to be had at this round. So I'm give you something good. ~Chuckles~ Well, hopefully you like this outfit as much as I do. This outfit is called Ella and it's by Aurora's Closet. I love that this dress is a sexy yet casual outfit. I could so wear this to the office or the club.

 It is deceiving from the front because it's so high necked yet if you turn it has a peek a boo back. I'm not sure that's the right term for the drop line of the back of the top but I totally love it, and it exposes the OWNED tattoo I am wearing by 72. I also like that not all the tattoo is seen so it leaves a little to the imagination to what's underneath all those letters.

The poses in this next picture are by Velocity called "Seven Deadly Sins. I got these at the Halloween OMG round but they're available on the marketplace. I also looked in world at her store but it looks like the creator Bliour Michaels (Windie Melody) is adding a bunch of things so definitely a pose maker and store to be on the look out for in the future. There are several poses to this pack and it's worth the 50L that you pay for it on Marketplace.

Chandelier

I stepped outside of my comfort zone and pushed the envelope again on my creativity. I am finding my blogging spirit again! Today I am showing you the Chandelier pose by Something New Poses and Props available at Thrift Shop 7.0. I am wearing a dress by Purple Moon called Elwing Gown in Pink and my wonderful crazy hair is by Damselfly that I got at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival called Gretchen. I played and played and played to get the one with butterflies, but they're all great!

I've only recently become a huge fan of this song, when I truly listened to the song and looked at the words I was like "wow this describes me so much when I was in my youth". But it also reminds me of addictions, emotions, and the feelings that we all get when we're dealing with Second Life. Alot of my friends lately have been going through "growth spurts" for a lack of a better description. Finding that they're suffering from self esteem, insecurities and more. So this pose just really touched me deeply and I knew I wanted to blog it, as well as touch base with this song.

I believe that we all go through issues where we think we're not pretty enough, good enough, handsome enough. That we're not loved or appreciated. Bloggers go through phases where they wonder if what they write is even being read, are they as good as "so and so" and are they doing enough. I believe that when it becomes to much work, or we get overwhelmed that we just need to take a step back (which is what I've done lately just took a backseat to my blog until I really did some soul searching.) I liked some of what I found, and some of me I didn't like so much.  So I've decided to blog for "me" which is why I started blogging in the first place.

I have amazing sponsors, I love them all differently, each one of them brings something special to me, to my life. Some of the creators I work for I talk to on a regular basis, and I have realized that behind the creators there are real people who create because they love it. Some pump out things left and right, others not so much but they're all so talented and so my focus is THEM, not the what ifs. My challenge to myself is to make sure that I am showcasing what they gift me and making sure that I do the best that I can. To not take advantage of their generosity or get caught up in self doubt. My blog is my blog. I am like no other blogger, and other bloggers aren't like me. I think sometimes we tend to take on styles, or thoughts and we create when we see something we like, I don't think of that as a copy cat, but just as a style and then we find our own.  I think we all go through changes both emotionally and mentally.

I guess for me, what I need to remember is to just "be me" and not worry about anyone else, or tomorrow. That I need to focus on the here and now and continue to grow as a person. That no matter what happens in my life that people may have the power to bring me down, only I can give them that power, so I don't. If they want to be a part of my life then they will be, if they don't then there's the door. I won't hold onto yesterday or dream about what could have been. Because if they can't stick around and know "Me" then perhaps they really weren't worth my time. I wish a dear friend of mine would start to listen to her heart and realize that as well, that there are going to be those gossip mongers who come into your life and stir up the pot and if the person you're with decides to walk, then let them go because they aren't worth your love, your friendship or your time.

Midnight Daliances

I am loving the Mystic Realms Faire, I have always been a gypsy at heart, I would be one of those women in long flowing skirts in real life, with bells at my ankles, and weaved through my hair. It's such a lovely magical place. Though this outfit by [SAKIDE] is not quite gypsy, I felt it belonged outside in a forest surrounded by beauty because it's simply gorgeous. I drug my husband to pose with me, the lady and the peasant (don't tell HIM I said that ~winks~) or maybe he's a knight pretending to be a peasant to woo the woman of his dreams hand? Either way, the dress was beautiful and the company pretty darn wonderful too.

The next items I want to share with you are outdoor wonders by Kalospia creator Isabeau Elle Klaber-Kennedy (Isabeau Baragula). I've included the Forest Well, two colors of flying leaves (Green and orange), tree bench, Stone Arch. (I did add the whole stone arch then pulled some of the stones apart when they were un-linked to just add to my atmosphere. I also set out he Forest Fountain. I am a love of fountains well mostly anything with water, but I loved the quality and the details that Isabeau put into her creations. When you walk around the Faire, you'll actually see a lot of items about.

My Confession

My Confession... The pose I am using is by Something New Poses and Props called "Murderous Halloween" when I first pulled this out of my inventory I was like "oh gosh" I wasn't sure I could pull it off. Granted I have a dark sense of humor sometimes but I wasn't sure. When I got this outfit by Gisel I really wanted a rock club, because with the Zarina hair by Ayashi at the Mystic Realms Faire, I just really thought "rocker chick" but then I just wasn't connecting. For some reason I like to connect moods *chuckles* oooh wonder if Cedric should worry that I'm in a "Murderous" mood? Nah... Love him to much but I can think of a few people who I'd like to toss under the sheet! haha kidding! (sorta?)

Song Inspiration today: Kamelot ft Eklipse "My Confession" I have a very soft spot in my heart for this band, I have seen them in concert twice now and have had the pleasure of both times being allowed to hang out with the band. They're just a great band and real people. :) who adore their fans.

It was a magical wonderland. A world beyond any ever she'd ever known, sucked down a hole, a vortex swimming, struggling the surface. With wide innocence she walked into a world she'd only seen in her dreams. It was.. Magic. She surrendered to the world, knowing she'd never ever be the same again. Touched by the beauty within the store fronts, amazed by the generosity of creators, the inspirations of a whole new world laid out before her, so many paths..

... she landed in Mystic Realms Faire, a wondrous events where designers come to sell their wares to the fae, to the warriors, the demons, angels, mermaids and more. What path would she take? As a roleplay want to be, I tend to always be drawn to the beauty in darkness. I'm not sure why I always tend to want to play a witch or something that's not quite good but can't quite cross over to the sinister side of roleplay. (Though my husband would disagree with that comment.) I wanted to showcase ALL the amazing creators but of course I can't be greedy nor do I have the time to blog every single item. I chose creators I had never heard of, some I had, and more, just the things that touched the inner side of me wanting to jump out and land into a world not known to me, but not quite unknown either.
