I adore the song "Love myself" by Hailee Steinfeild. I think the message is empowering. We need to love ourselves before others can love us. To me I'm not a person who looks at the glass as half empty but as half full who's ready to fill it with more fun things. Lately, I've been trying to love myself more. To stop being around people who constantly look for the bad in everything. I decided to love myself enough to put on this sexy little dress by 20.Five, I went for the soft pink but there are a few other choices that I could have chosen. Then I stared in the mirror. In real life, I'm not much for makeup but on SL... I love wearing makeup, especially by LaBoheme. I love her makeup because when I wear it, it doesn't do whacky things to my eyes like some makes up do. After applying my smoking eye shadow, I decided to make my lips kissable!. With reminding myself to love myself, it brings me to those that can't. Who always look for the bad in every situation. Who can't be happy for what they do have, or what they're given. I've never understood people like this, I've never understood pessimistic people. I want to say that I get it, but no.. no I can't say that I do. I spent 8 years with a guy who was the biggest pessimist. There was negative in everything, and after awhile it just drains you down so much that I had to get out or I was either going to kill him or myself, lol. (No seriously I wouldn't have done either, but I knew that I had to get out to save my self and my soul.)

After awhile, no matter how hard you try, how much you give to a person, it simply isn't enough. Of course at the end of the day it's always blamed on others, they can't look in the mirror and say "I was at fault in this too." I know when I left my boyfriend after 8 years, I knew I was to blame too, it wasn't all on him. There were so many factors in our life that WASN'T good, we did have a lot of good times and we do remain friends to this day. He's actually one of my best friends, but at the end of the day, we were meant to be friends and not in a relationship anymore.

I guess the point of all this for me is... Love yourself, love yourself more then anyone else does. Take care of you, be happy for the good things that are GOOD and that are RIGHT. The rest will fall into place. But if you focus on all the bad, and you constantly criticize others, at some point, they're going to walk away because they'll either start to get depressed because nothing they do is good enough, or they know that nothing they ever do will be good enough so it's safer to move on before they're emotionally destroyed.

Sorry for such a heavy blog. I've actually been sitting on this for a few days trying to decide, but then decided to write it and publish it.

The new round of Collabor88 has started, this round is called Muted Coven. I am so impressed with so many of the creators this round, they really stepped up to the challenge of this theme. I love the spirits and the occult though I'm not a huge fan of scary horror movies, lol but I do enjoy ghosts and the things that go bump in the night. I decided to showcase -PixiCat- in this post. Dusk comes in several colors but since purple is my favorite color it was really a no brainer on which I'd buy though I may go back and buy the other colors because they're just stunning. The top is a corset fit, and fits snug to the body, the skirt long yet flowing with detailed textures.

Then I dug into my make up and went with bold passionate eyes by La Boheme, this color is from her set Glamour Eyes called Caireen Set 2, there are 10 different stunning colors to choose from. There are several sets available and you can find these at the Cosmetic Fair which starts September 15th.I'm also wearing La Boheme's Kissable Glitter Lips, from Set 1, Gold 1.. Mwahs!

The hair is by Exile called Bewitched. I love this hair, I first bought it in blond then had to go back and buy the black because I wear black the majority of the time but sometimes I like to spice it up and go blond. I love how this hair fits.. but then I love most of Exile's hair. You can also find this hair at Collabor88.

Every pretty witch needs her own broom so I zoomed back to Collabor88 today and picked up the two of the several pose sets available there by Purple Poses. Purple poses made some fun poses for this event, several have friend poses in them, some with the broom prop and some model stands. If you're a pose junky like me, you won't want to miss these poses at the incredible prices that they're available for. 

Last, but surely not the least is my nail polish by Dark Passions. These nails are for a very very special cause. One of the amazing things about the Second Life community is when something happens, the creators bond and work together to support each other. The event is called Saving Sight from Sept. 12 - Sept 27. Saving Sight is a fundraising event to support the Owner of DeadPool named Shane Rodney Benbrook. He's battling with Graves Disease and this event is to help raise money for his medical expenses.    La Boheme currently does not work for any of the mesh heads though she is trying but it's down the road some. For those of us who do not have mesh heads though this is amazing eye shadows! I love her make up because it really doesn't change the look of my face just adds color and depth.

It wasn't going to be just an ordinary day for her, she had to fall asleep in the sun, sleeping under the trees, the wind blowing gently through the leaves. Restless, she tossed, and she turned falling into a deeper sleep where she woke in the dream world. She could hear the wind, and the ocean waves lapping at the shore lines, feeling as if something were trying to speak to her. Even in sleep her head tilts, looking, listening then she hears it: the wind whispering to her to find peace, telling her that all would be alright. The wind speaking to her of days gone past and days to come.

Today I've emraced the celestial side of Second Life. Which isn't really where I meant to go when I put on this uber sexy top called Hannah by No Name. As I sat playing with the hud and looking at all the variants I just was in awe of how beautiful it was.The textures of this top are just brillant. I've gone on and and on before on their hud, but their textures are just.. spot on. With each top you get a different look. You can change the butterfly, the jeweles, the strings, the top of the halter, the bottom of the halter. It's just.. spectacular how many looks you can get with ONE TOP!

 I wanted to do something different, so I began looking at hair. I wanted to stand on a cliff top and look over the ocean, but when I put Windsong on by Exile, I began clicking the hair choices, landed on white.. and it just kind of evolved from there.

The facial tat that I am wearing in this photo is by La Boheme for this round of We <3 roleplay. In some of the pictures the tattoo is white, but I went back and did a red tint on it so it'd pop off my face. The eye make up as well as the lip gloss is also by La Boheme. Eye shadows can be found at We <3 roleplay but the lipstick is a past new release that can be bought in world at her store. (All links are below) 

The circlet I am wearing is from The Plastik, this was a gift, I am not sure what event it was at, but I have contacted the beautiful creator to get more info, so as soon as I do, I will update this space to give you more information regarding this beautiful piece of jewelry. I've been trying to be good and not go to very many events, but Collabor88 is one of my favorites. I was resisting, I was. Until my little sister showed up in the new dress by Tee*fy  called Kira Off-Shoulder Dress - creator Azure Electricteeth whose store is called: LaViere & Tee*fy . I actually bought this in several colors because I liked it so much.

Underneath the velvet letters of my heart

We're the lucky ones. To have someone come into your life and make such an impact. To have such a fairy tale love. But sometimes even fairy tales are based on darkness and fear. Of loss, of laughter. Of heartbreaks and hungers. Tears stain the pages of most fairy tales. Young girls mourning that evil prevails, wishing that Prince Charming would win just once. Fairytales are based on nightmares. But sometimes... sometimes a person is blessed with the Prince Charming winning.. sometimes the princess is blessed... and sometimes the princess is cursed. Just cursed, like a fallen angel.

Sometimes, if we're lucky we're blessed once with a love that lasts a lifetime.. that's the love my parents had.. a lifetime and more. I've been blessed and cursed by love many times... and now.. torn. Feeling broken, lost and very confused.

Feeling a little melencholy tonight, but seriously this is a blog entry to talk about amazing creators too. :) My pose is called Endearing by Something New Poses and Props. (Creator Allyson Dwyer) I am sure that when Ally made this pose that she meant it for lovers, but when I see it, I see a woman comforting a man, or trying to hold onto Him, or a strong man who always is there for the woman and now she's holding Him up, having His back so to speak. This pose really spopke volumes to me so when I saw it in the gacha poster for Streets of Love Gacha Event that Ally put out, I knew which poses I wanted. This one just really spoke to me on so many levels. Matching it with the Remarkable Oblivion wings called Eternity I knew I wanted to do something different, something ... but where it went isn't quite what I anticipated either... darn these fingers. ~chuckles~

My nail polish is by La Boheme it's a beautiful polish for the  hunt - Stupid Cupid 3, which runs from Feburary 1st-15th. I'm very excited to be part of .Penumbra, it's an event that's designed to be a "fashion center who welcomes various agencies and designers for fashion events of all types" according to their blog. For me, it's an amazing opportunity to meet new designers, and step into the high end fashion world which is something I have always admired. I enjoy being able to show off fashion sense even though I'm not very good at that in real life. Second Life makes it so easy for us to be fashion forward!

.Penumbra Sneak Peek runs from November 25th to December 5th so it's a very small window of shopping for this great event! I look forward to seeing what the designers put forth and I am happy to show you all what I find!

So first up I have this sexy little number by D&G Fashion Creator: ƅʌƅɣ ɗɾʌєʛơɲɲє (Rylee Fyanucci) called Fatal Beauty.. there are 3 different styles to this sexy little number and are you ready for the good part? APPLIERS! Being a new buyer of the Slink Physique I have to say I was thrilled to see that it came for an appleir for the Slink Physique. So lets talk about the applier hud.. It's all in one hud, one for each version of the dress.  Tango, Womeh, Brazila Doll, Lena Body, =9's=, Omega System, Slinky Physique, Wide Loads, Phat Azz, Ghetto Booty, Perfect BUm and Brazilia Booty then there's a separate hud for our ladies who have The Mesh Project. What??? YES! All these appliers with this sexy little number. I'm impressed!

It even comes with shoes! I love outfits that come with shoes because I tend to lose things in my inventory. This outfit not only includes shoes! but it also comes with Smokey black eye makeup (that I'm wearing , as well as earrings, and a face veil) It also comes with a clutch which was exciting for me, because I don't usually pose with them so I loved the challenge and of course I had to use the new pose set out by Image Essential Poses and props called "Prestige" that you can buy until November 30th at Thrift Shop.

I felt very elegant in this pose like I was trying to catch a cab. I think I should have tried to find a city landscape to pull this off better, but I still love the look.
