It's been a bittersweet few weeks. I had surgery on July 8th and my mom stepped up and helped when her health isn't the best. The song I chose for inspiration is called "I'll Be" By Reba McEntire, something that I hope to be for my own daughter. I want to be their shoulder and be there for them, and well I really haven't been. I'm reminded of a ship in a storm, riding the waves and what guides them home? The lighthouse, the love of family and friends. So when BAMSE sent me this light house necklace for the upcoming Le Petite Faire coming to Honey Briar from July 17th until August 7th , I knew I had to blog it and show off the beauty and be reminded how lighthouses weather all storms that beat against their shores.

Here's the closeup of the :BAMSE: Lighthouse Necklace - I'm wearing it in Silver but it also comes in Black Gold, Copper, Gold and of course Silver. It's also resizeable I made mine a little bit smaller but it is amazing just out of the box too. The creator liamzander has really done a marvelous job of making this charming necklace. In this picture you can actually see the "glow" of the lighthouse but it's not overwhelming if you zoom out meaning it doesn't SHINE out in your face, it's just a neat little secret feature if someone zooms in on you.Will be sold individually or as a fatpack. He does specify that this necklace is Unisex and fits baby/kid/adult and teens but looks better on the adult/teen. It will take some adjusting if you decided to buy it for a baby. It's easily sizable and I'm not very good at this kind of thing so IF I can resize it and make it look good anyone can. lol


Skipping off to the Wayward Carnival that opens July 15th -July 30th - not a very long time at all so hurry hurry hurry and snag all the fantastic goodies that you can find at this wonderful Carnival. I shopped myself broke. (Used all my hair fair money!!!) But I decided there were just things that I had to have. The first thing I snagged was poses.. yeah duh poses because I LOVE POSES! And an lar has done it again and brought me a pose set that I just HAD to own called The Wonderall Series. There are six poses with mirrors to this set. I'm only showcasing a few of these. (All poses in this blog post are by an lar from this pack). The creator of an lar is Katya Valeska, she's one of those pose makers that I usually wind up buying when I see her poses at events just because I admire her work.

I don't usually do "decoration" and home decor blog posts but since I loved this house, and the other items,I thought I would try my hand at adding a little extra touch here and there. Throughout the pictures you'll see a couple of things. [Moani] Jar Candles  by Sway as well as the ring toss by [atooly.home]. I don't think the Moani candles are an exclusive to the event, but they were very pretty and I love candles and things that glow. I thought these were just charming and will fit in many different spots in my home. Today they happened to look good on Trompe Loeil - The Dreaming House that I had picked up at a previous event, but is available in their main store and on markeptlace. I just thought the jars and the ring toss were adorable and I was feeling nostalgic for my childhood. And just remembering what a strength my mom always was and has been for me.

Well, it's the new year and I'm making my first post on Jan 17th.. Ughs! I brought the new year in with a bang, and a cough.. seems the Ice Queen hit me hard, and surrounded me with her frozen wings making me sick sick sick and sick! 

On top of that, we had a death in the family so I had no time really to rest and get better. Finally, I'm feeling more like myself, ready to jump into the world again and get back to doing what I love, blogging! Thank you to my sponsors who didn't give up on me.



Today's post features a few different things. The Pose is by Image Issential called Ice Queen which totally inspired this post. It always amazes me that when I get stumped, I just start pulling out poses and then get inspired and motivated. Thank you Kay Weston of Image Esseitnals Poses and Props for the Ice Queen pose/prop. Of course the wooden dummy comes with the pose (not the handsome fella on the left.) We had fun taking pictures before I got sick so it's really nice to be able to finally post this.

My dress is by [[ Masoom]] called Princess Frostine. This was an old blogger gift I got from a group I used to belong to so I'm not sure if it's still available in ΔɱßєƦ (AmberChaudry Corpur) in world store or not.

~Something about December~

I know in my hometown there's something about December that excites those from young to old. For many it's the upcoming holidays of seeing family and loved ones. For children it's school is out for a few weeks. For others it's the ski season starting up.

Where I am from we usually have quite a bit of snow by now but weirdly enough this year we've had beautiful weather. I live in the Midwest near a college town. Every year when it snows people RUSH to campus to sled down the huge hills. People have lost their lives on these hills but the draw remains.. it's fun! Something I haven't ever participated in but have watched my brother take my nephews for many years until they were old enough to do it on their own.

With that said, when Kay of Image Essential Poses and Props sent out blogger packs for winter themed items, I had to giggle and was so excited to share with my readers some of her goodies!

It's finally snowed here, so brr! baby it's cold cold outside, thankfully it was pretty and it's melted throughout the day. We're a week away from Christmas have you finished your shopping? One of the great things about Santana's polishes is that she caters to those of us who love silver or gold accents, she give us both! I chose silver because that's what I wear. See shivering from the cold and I feel I still look good *giggles*. I honestly don't know if they work with other mesh bodies, but so far I've been uber impressed that I have to do very little tweaking to get them to work. SO BONUS!!!
