When I started getting ready for this post, I wasn't sure what I wanted, or where it was going to go. I slipped into the Chloe outfit by MOoH several days ago, I've rotated through the colors (pink, black, chamomile, lilac gray and white) and I kept going back to the pink. So I took pictures but none really settled with me so a day or two went by and today I was like I HAVE got to blog this, not because I HAD to but because I really wanted too. I used to blog on a regular basis for MOoH and had the pleasure of being her blog manager but more importantly her friend. It was like going home. So I kept thinking "Feels like home by Chantal Kravits" but when I listened to the song it was like meh.. even that doesn't fit. I'm so literal sometimes when it comes to my blogging. 

For me sometimes my blog kind of takes it's own direction when it comes to pictures and what I wind up doing. I was going through poses and found this pose by Picture This called "Raining Roses" and was like oooh that's pretty and Cedric was like "You need a sakura tree" so the pictures began to transform, and the hunt for song inspiration began. I happen to love Mindy Gledhill, her music just is sweet, and touching. When I listened to the song "Take Flight" I knew I had my inspiration and that it went so well wtih what pictures had begun to transpire. The first picture reminds me of setting petals to the wind and talking to my dad or someone from my past of knowing some day we'll see each other on the other side. That my thoughts though sometimes are here and there, that when they take flight they find them, whoever it is. Someone from now, someone from my past or even someone from my future. 

Feeling kind of nostalgic today, thinking about the past, and where I've come. I've come a long way but still have a long way to go. It's the simple things in life like petals dancing in the wind that make me smile and enjoy just being "me". 

So when I get nostalgic like that, and when life gets really stressful, I just want to be with my best friend, leaning on him, and not worrying about anything. He's my rock, my strength and sometimes the only thing that can keep me grounded. 

With We <3 roleplay opening today, i eagerly ripped itno my La Boheme blogger boxes and oh man let me tell you it was hard to pick what make up I wanted to wear! Details are below but let me tell you YOU will NOT be disappointed. :) And finally I painted my nails with Dark Passions polish called WERK though it wasn't werk at all to paint my nails. :) Such pretty stunning colors.

Spring has Sprung!

I wish I could say that Kansas Spring looks this pretty, well on some days it does, but right now all it's doing is raining. Maybe that's why I just want to curl up in bed with a good book and just chill. BUT I couldn't resist wanting to enjoy sunshine weather, beautiful flowers and wishing it weren't raining. This Spring Has Sprung pose prop is available at the Urban United: Spring Fling Event. There are 5 poses to this prop. 4 standing in various positions and one laying down. It also comes with a basket and a sprig of flowers for your hand. You may or may not have to do some editing to make these fit your hands. In some of my pictures I even put the basket on the ground which ALSO comes with the pose prop so if you're in a tight spot and you want pretty flowers this is a great pose prop to own!

The outfit that I am wearing is by one of my former sponsors but I hope to always claim as a friend. When I saw her new stuff, I just *HAD* to have. The top is Ruffle Black, and the shorts are denim with a black belt. They come in a few different colors and choices.Both were at a previous event. You can buy the top with a lace skirt as a fatpack or you can buy them separate. (Links provided below in what I am wearing to her main store and her marketplace.) I'm really loving the new clothes that Dalriada has been putting out. I'm also wearing La Boheme eye shadow called "Glamor eyes Kitty" Available at this month's round of We <3 Roleplay.

Because we all know that I'm a sucker for polishes, I wanted to share this new release that's elusive at Thrift Shop 9.0. Dark Passions polish has come out with a Midnight Metal. I know it's probably not very spring-ish but it's very edgy for what I was wearing and well, I loved it so there ya go! What's nice about these polishes is that the're almost a gradient of color. A matte finish and a shine finish so you can really have a different look then normal. Pretty creative if you ask me!

Sometimes in the hectic of keeping deadlines and schedules both online and in real life, it's nice.. to just return to "home." I had the great privileged and honor of working for Dalriada Delwood as a blogger, then her manager. I never dreamed a friendship would form but I'm thrilled that it did. As a designer she creates some of the most adorable looks, as a friend she's always uplifting and has nice things to say about most everything in life. She has been a constant role model for me even when other things have been going on in the background. So when things changed for her and she decided to cut back events it was hard, but I knew that in time I would return to her items because she does do some events that I blog for. This blog entry is dedicated to an amazing designer and friend. Creator Dalriada Delwood of MOoH! Who brings to us not only a sexy outfit, but it's cute/adorable too! Event Highlight

OMG Christmas Round, This is the 10th round for the OMG room and I'm always thrilled when I unpack my blogger boxes. Rarely am I disappointed. This event has a little bit of everything. Clothes, home furnishings, poses and more. If you haven't been, this would be a FANTASTIC round to go to. Lots of goodies, some free gifts (or low cost gifts!) and the sim is decorated for the holidays. They've really just done a beautiful job and the sim looks amazing! Thank you designers and staff of OMG room!

~Fall into Me~

With summer ending I'm feeling blah. I love the autumn weather, the beautiful changing of the leaves and the crisp air when it starts to turn abit cold. Mostly I love the fall decorations, the sound of leaves crunching under your feet as you walk, and Halloween. Halloween and Fall is probably one of my favorite seasons. But then Fall brings on winter and though the snow is beautiful, I'm not a fan of the cold and the ice. Sure if the snow could stay white and pretty before anyone steps into it, or drives in it I would like the snow better but that never happens and the dreamy beautiful snow then becomes yuck. But it is beautiful while it lasts and gives life a new chance for spring. That's what I enjoy.

I've been playing with a photo editor as I prepare to begin my new Photoshop class. I am hoping to improve the quality of my pictures as well as my blog. It's funny that even in second world a place of beautiful bodies, perfect hair and clothes that we can still suffer self esteem issues and get beaten down and hurt by others. So that's one of the reasons why I've been "playing" with pictures and getting a new feeling for my blog. I've debated on whether I wanted to change it like so many others do with just a picture, a location and be done with it. But that's not me, that's not why I like to blog. I love sharing my passion for creators and telling all I can about what I buy and where I buy it and sometimes WHY I buy something. Sure sometimes it's from a blogger pack but most of the time I blog for them because I have a passion for them and for what they're selling so I want to share it as much as I can.

My whole outfit in this post is by MOoH! The V-Neck Top, the jeans and the necklace all MOoH! I have to say that I love these jeans, they make my butt look good, they're my most favored SL jeans. They come in an outfit called "Love Me Casual" which can be purchased on Marketplace.

The V-Neck Crop Sweater is a new release for The Promenade Gacha Event that runs October 1st to October 31st. There are 14 color choices and 3 rares to be had in this gacha. I'm in LOVE with this sweater. It lets me have my summer but also helps me ease into the fall weather. :)

The necklace is Gothic Necklace Purple that can be found in a gacha at MOoH! Flagship Store Location. IF you've not been to the new store you should totally go, it's magical. Truly Dalriada Delwood did a great job with her new store and it's wonderful just like she is!

In this picture I am wearing a new polish from Dark Passion: Koffin Nails called Leaf Me to Fall. I bought these at The Thrift Shop and they're on sale there til the end of today (Sept 29th) so if you like it as much as I did then hurry over before it's gone. I'm not sure if the talented creator (Bcreative Wilde Heart (Bcreative Wilde))  puts them in her store after events are over but it's worth a shot to check out! This is for sale at the main store location it's upstairs but browse around you'll find amazing poses! The second pose is from her series of Peek-a-boo Hands, which are also a NEW release available on the 2nd floor of her store! :) There are several different poses that show off the hands but giving you a peek a boo game of what's beneath, they're totally adorable.

I hadn't heard of Frozen poses either but they're someone I'll be keeping my eye out for. OMG! That's about right.. OMG!

The OMG Room is a new event for me. I've been to it a few times in the past, bought a few things but now I'm blogging for them. I feel OMG right now myself because this fantastic event ends tomorrow.  (Sept 15th) so I feel kind of bad. It's been a crazy month for me. First we went to Florida then I had to make a fast trip to Wisconsin to see my son who's in his first year of college.. Phew! So tonight I'm sitting down to do what I love.. Blogging! And showing everyone some really great clothes for decent prices at a fantastic event!



So where to start! All of these wonderful creators, some are new to me, some not. I decided to start with the creator I work for. Dalriada Delwood of MOoH! She's a great boss and I really enjoy managing her group. But I also enjoy the friendship that I have gained by getting to know this fabulous designer! She's as adorable as her clothes!

First up is her Lace Skirts with belt these skirts come in two colors pink or white! These skirts can be found at the OMG Event until September 15th then should be found in her store

The next outfit I am sharing is by {Ｂ ąẕẕℓεđ }, Bianca Marchant is the creator, and this is a new creator for me. I've seen her clothes on some of my blogger friends web pages so was happy to unpack this item and see what her store is all about. I really like this outfit, this is something I would so totally wear in real life if I were built right. The top and shoes come with a hud so you can change your look with just the click of a button. Impressed!

Hitting the beach

Aloha! 

I was so excited to hear about The Aloha Fair and all the greatness that came from this fair. This fair just made me SUPER ready for my Florida vacation at the end of the month but more on that later!

 Today I hit the beach at a m o r o u s  to take these pictures. So I'm working with poses from Image Essentials called Luau, I'm also wearing the IE - Luau Lei (White). My outfit is by MOoH! it's the MOoH! Blue leopard beach set. (Love my kittys!) my belly jewel is by Pomposity and it's a Dolphin piercing. All of these can be found at The Aloha Fair.

 I love these poses by Kay Weston of Image Essentials. I felt like a mermaid playing.

 The poses I am using are all by Image Essentials part of her Luau pack for The Aloha Fair, there are 8 poses and mirror poses too.

 The hair I am wearing is by .ploom that you can now find at the We <3 Roleplay. Lots of wonderful joys to be found there. I just wish I would have had more Linden to spend there. But I totally adore this hair and it went perfect with the sarong set by MOoH! it just FIT!

 My nail polish is -{ZOZ}- Shimmer Basics French Polish @ Designer Showcase July 30nd - Aug 29th, these come in several different amazing colors. I am always impressed by ZOZ and the deepness and richness she puts in every color. I rarely wear any other polish now but hers. It's just another layer of me.

 I wanted to bounce up and down when I got my blogger box from .ploom. This hair was perfect!!!! yes perfect!!! for this outing! So sometimes it pays to procrastinate! You can get this great hair called KOY at the WE <3 Roleplay that August 6th. I love how things just come together sometimes!!!

If anyone knows Kay Weston, they know that every time she makes poses she brings in this substitute dummy. I'll call him my Posing Doll lol. So this is called "Getting Lei'd" My Posing Doll has shown up a couple of times in my blog because he makes me smile too! I like how I'm gently touching his hand as he puts my lei on me.

Mirror Mirror... Who's the fairest...

I'm not very good at stepping outside of my comfort zone into the realm of fantasy and make believe. But when I was asked to choose one of the new poses from Image Essentials, I couldn't help but pick "Who's the Fairest" of course, I didn't go with my typical black hair and red lips like I could have,I started out casual then went from there diving into my inventory I picked pieces from The Armory then decided to dress it up with the face mask by Alchemy from this round of The Secret Affair. Then I was like "OH my gosh! That dress!" So in the middle of taking pictures, I rushed back to TSA and got the Alchemy dress! I hope you enjoy my take on an old classic tale.

I've had music playing over and over in my head.. thoughts running rapid the last few days as I've put together multiple outfits trying to decide what to say, what to write and then it all just came together. Missing you by Avril Lavigne kind of bounced around my head as well as others.. but really Missing you fits.. I miss my father every day. There's not a day that goes by that I wish I didn't have him here, to have his advice, and his hugs. My parents would have been married 45 years shortly after he passed away and in the last 6 years since his death we've watched my mom decline. It's heart breaking to watch this woman who used to be so strong weaken because she simply wants to die and join him

The outfit that I am wearing is a sexy little number by MOoH!/Firebird Designs called Back to Black. I picked this up outside of her store the other day for only 60L it's a mesh mini dress that comes with arm warmers. I don't usually like things like the arm warmers but OMG they're just stunning together. Sadly in the pictures you can't see the slight shimmer to the dress but there is like little silver tinsel weaves into the fabric to create a really ethereal yet elegant look. I was so pleased and delighted by this outfit. The necklace is also by FBD, it's 50L in her gatcha's outside her store. (There are several different colors, red, black, purple and more.) Today's post features a few different things. Right now there are so many awesome events going on around the grid. One of them is The Thrift Shop.  I decided to step out of my natural box of normal lightening and do something abit different. I'm very pleased with the results. Cedric usually is the one that takes all the awesome lightening pictures with different techniques but he's been helping me find my inner dark child, lol. The original ad by Image Essentials. I don't usually add the ad's in but since I did something abit different with the poses and didn't post every single one, I wanted you to be able to see exactly what you're getting out of this fantastic pose pack. 

I'm not really sure where my daughter got the sandcastle but for some reason when I put this shirt on I was like, "I NEED to be on the beach" I hope Kay doesn't mind I thought outside of a wall for my posing, but I feel it really works too. The hat is from Jazzatitude, and the shoes and polish are by ZOZ more to come on those two items. But you can get the shoes @ Cosmopolitan for 120L (Both for guys and girls!) The hat and the sunglasses are from a cute little store called :jazzitude this was a gift from a friend so I have no clue how much it cost, but most of her items are pretty affordable. 

So I can't end my blog without talking about the super awesome Sandals by ZOZ. She made the men Croc's then came up with one for the ladies too. :) I don't think Cedric has taken them off since she gifted them to him. YEAH FOR SHOES! :) YEAH FOR ZOZ SHOES! I'm going to Zozify him yet!
